Kristen Sadler Pittman is an Arkansas native who has traveled the world, sharing her dance knowledge at competitions, festivals and performing alongside some of the greats in the dance industry. Kristen is an international judge for Starpower Talent, an award winning and sought after choreographer and a world-wide master class instructor. Her students were recently highlighted at the International Dance Organization World Gala in Genoa, Italy. Kristen’s choreography was featured at The Australian Dance Festival in 2018 and celebrated at the Hollywood Avalon Theater at the 2017 Industry Dance Awards. Kristen is proud to serve as the Central United States Director of The American Dance Company, "Team USA". Kristen’s choreography for Team USA was featured in performances at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 International Dance Organization World Championships in Poland, bringing home over 20 medals and distinctions. Her most rewarding professional roles, however, are being a dance instructor, a choreographer, a mentor and Director at Rock City Dance Center.

 

"Growing up in Central Arkansas in a family of educators and musicians, the arts were a huge part of my life. I always dreamed of creating a space that not only provided world class technical dance training, but was also a safe space for dancers and teachers to call home; a positive space where both students and teachers feel supported and encouraged to explore their craft and be the best they can be. In 2010 that dream became a reality when I opened Rock City Dance Center.  It is the greatest honor to be able to share my love for the art of dance with the next generation and create jobs within the industry, right here at home in Arkansas.
