RECREATIONAL CLASSES
LITTLE ROCK
The recreational dance program at Rock City Dance Center is like no other! Students as young as two years old are exposed to multiple dance styles in one convenient class. Our dancers participate in classes specializing in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Ballet. Dancers are introduced to a variety of dance and movement concepts, vocabulary, and proper technique. Each recreational class emphasizes a fun, upbeat environment with age appropriate music.
NEW THIS YEAR, our recreational program offers both recital and non-recital classes. Our Tiny Tots, Creative Movement, Disney Ballet, Pre-Dance, Dance 1-4, Hip Hop Performance and Boys Only classes all participate in our annual spring recital.
Our NEW non-recital classes include Acro Ninja Bootcamp, RCDC Spirit Cheer/Dance, and Acro Fundamentals. These non-recital classes can be taken as a stand-alone class or added to your dancer’s current recreational class for only $20-$30 more per month.

For students who are ready to discover dance independently from their parents. Dancers are introduced to basic Ballet and Tap concepts while developing a sense of rhythm through exercises that encourage imagination and creative expression. This class will participate in the annual recital.

For kindergarteners who are ready for a high energy combination class. They will learn Ballet, Tap and Jazz skills while developing a strong sense of rhythm. This class is FUN and is perfect for students to learn skills required for their future dancing years. This class participates in the annual recital.

This exciting, high-energy class is perfect for dancers interested in the latest and most popular dance moves. Students will explore various styles of Hip Hop dance with our amazing instructors, all while listening to age appropriate music. This class performs in the annual recital.

NEW this year we are excited to offer some non-recital skill-building classes. These class offerings include Acro Ninja Bootcamp, RCDC Spirit Cheer and Dance, and Acro Fundamentals. In addition to the Recreational Program we also offer comprehensive training opportunities including: Fundamental Training, Company Programs, Adult Classes, & Pre-Professional Training for dancers wishing to further their training.
RECREATIONAL INVESTMENT
Tuition is an annual fee, based on 30 weeks of class. For the convenience of our families we collect this in nine equal payments, payable on the first of every month September - May. Tuition is paid monthly by credit/debit card draft on the 1st of each month. Fees are non-refundable and there are no refunds for missed or dropped classes. Tuition is based on enrollment not attendance. Written notice must be given to drop classes. The investment includes: Annual Registration Fee ($35 individual/$50 family), Tuition (paid monthly) and Recital Tuition.
RECITAL TUITION
All Inclusive recital tuition includes: one costume, one t-shirt, one award, all production related expenses and media (pictures/video). Our all-Inclusive Recital Tuition is $210 per dancer and is collected in 3 equal payments of $70 on November 15, February 15 and April 15.
RECREATIONAL DRESS CODE
All dancers must be dressed in proper dance attire along with the proper shoes to achieve the most from their dance education. Correct placement can only be seen through appropriate dancewear such as leotards, tights, skirts, tutus, etc. Our recreational classes have an open dress code of dance attire with required shoes such as pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes and/or jazz shoes. All classes will be emailed before the first day of class with specifics.
