We are happy to offer the following Master Classes hosted at Rock City Dance Center summer 2019. These classes are taught by industry professionals and are open to the public. HIP HOP CLASSES

With over 100 million views, Dejan Tubic has become one of the most watched choreographers online. According to Fox News Los Angeles, he is “lighting the world on fire with his fierce moves”. His videos have gotten him in publications all over the world from The New York Times to online blogs such as PerezHilton.com. Ciara, The Black Eyed Peas, Jason DeRulo, Adam Lambert, and Ryan Seacrest are just a few stars who have expressed their love for his work and dancers.
Outside his remarkable online presence and achievements, Dejan continues to work as a dancer and choreographer. As a dancer, he has performed with Usher at The American Music Awards, danced for artists such as Toni Braxton and YouTube sensation, Rebecca Black, and was a dancer on the hit TV show X-Factor. He moved onto TV, becoming a cast member as a choreographer on MTV’s The Electric Barbarellas. Later on in his career he was hired to Choreograph for The American Music Awards Red Carpet Show as well as The Streamy Awards, including dancing and choreographing for OMI, Soulja Boy, Vanilla Ice, and the legendary Sir Mix-A-Alot. Recently, Dejan has been working with Pentatonix, choreographing the “On My Way Home” World Tour and appearing in their “On My Way Home” Tour Documentary.
Outside of his major career achievements, Dejan continues to travel and be an educator to dancers all over the world. He is a faculty member at International Dance Academy (IDA) in Hollywood, CA and travels the US with Dance Makers Dance Convention.

Feature films include TED2, LUCKY STIFF (associate choreographer), ROCK OF AGES, BACKSEAT, GANGSTER SQUAD, BOOGIE NIGHTS, GNOMEO & JULIET, BEDTIME STORIES, JEFFREY, THE PRODUCERS, GUESS WHO, GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, INSPECTOR GADGET, MIGHTY APHRODITE, ANASTASIA , FROZEN (bonus musical theater number on DVD) and his personal favorite.....the BEST PICTURE OSCAR winner CHICAGO!!! Lately Scott has focused his attention on paying it forward with teaching, choreographing and spreading his love of DANCE in and around this country. Scott is very proud of the longevity and variety of his dance career and honored to have worked with so many legendary, iconic choreographers of the this century. Scott is GRATEFUL and gives THANKS to his mentor, dance teacher and Uncle....BILL FOWLER for this life and love of DANCE !!!!

As one of the top teachers in New York City, Tracie Stanfield brings energy, style and passion to her students across the world. Known for inspiring and challenging classes, Tracie’s work focuses on moving beyond the steps to allow each dancer to find their connection with breath, emotion and movement. Building on the technique of ballet, the bold rebellion of modern contemporary and the passion and pulse of jazz dance, Tracie’s classes are explorations in PURE DANCE.
In addition to her classes at Broadway Dance Center, Tracie serves as Artistic Director of Synthesis Dance Project, a contemporary lyrical concert dance company based in NYC. Over the past decade, Synthesis Dance Project has held annual New York City seasons with additional extensive touring throughout the United States. International engagements with Choreographer Tracie Stanfield include Japan, Turkey, Costa Rica and Canada with upcoming residencies scheduled in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
On the faculty of Broadway Dance Center, Tracie Stanfield continues to teach master classes, workshops and residencies for organizations such as The Rock School, K-Broadway/Tokyo, Joffrey Ballet School, The University of South Carolina, Mesa State College, Sureste Dance Festival (Mexico), The International Dance Festival’s Summer Intensive (Artistic Director), Marymount Manhattan College, The Grier School, The Pulse on Tour, Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, Motion Dance Convention, The Gold School, Spirit Dance Academy (Costa Rica) and more!

JON DRAKE BALLET

Jon Drake is a classically trained ballet dancer with experience in teaching all levels of ballet. He graduated from the John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart, Germany where he trained under Pytor Pestov, former Ballet Master to the Bolshoi. He was a principle with BalletMet, OBT, Ballet Idaho and Ballet Oklahoma. He has performed many classical roles and worked with many well known contemporary choreographers during his ballet career. Jon has also performed in Broadway tours, commercials and film. He is currently a freelance Master Class instructor, choreographer and guest artist for numerous schools and companies across the USA. His classes are based on proper technique, placement and musicality to provide the best outcome for anyone. Whether for exercise, conditioning or aspiring to dance professionally. Jon’s classes deliver in a challenging yet uplifting atmosphere.
