RCDC is excited to get back to dance in 2021 and we know you are eager to know what that looks like!  

 

We will be offering recreational in-studio classes for Fall 2021, leading up to our annual recital in May of 2022.   As the Central Arkansas community navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, we at RCDC commit to keeping an open line of communication with our customers and always keeping the health and safety of our students and staff a priority.  

 

In-Studio Updates 

To safely provide dance classes, our updated protocols will ensure that we limit the amount of close contact in high-traffic situations and times.  These steps include: 

-HEPA Air filtration systems in every dance room

-HEPA Air filtration systems in lobby, locker rooms, and dancer common areas

-Our filtration systems capture 99.9% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns. That's smaller than the size of a COVID particle at 0.125 microns in size.

-universal masking by RCDC staff,

-100% of recreational staff vaccinated,

-floor markings used in classroom to mark appropriate physical distancing,

-while actively participating and dancing, optional masking for dancers

-sanitation of classrooms before/after each class,

-universal masking in all common areas,

-optional dancer pick-up and drop-off outside,

-lobby access may be limited at times to reduce congestion

COVID-19 Accommodations

As cases of COVID are rising in Arkansas we want to make sure we are keeping our dancers, families and staff safe - while also providing the level of instruction and quality you expect from RCDC.  The safety of our dancers and families is always top priority and we are committed to finding ways to have a blast and keep you involved all at the same time! Modifications to the offerings at Rock City Dance Center may happen due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Rock City Dance Center will provide reasonable accommodations to all of our customers.  

 

Updates 

Our COVID-19 polices will be updated as new guidance and information is available.  We commit to being fluid and keeping current with all CDC and Arkansas Department of Health directives.  We are committed to resuming normal operations as soon as it is safe to do so.  This page will be the source of updates to keep our customers informed at all times.
